Autumn in our school
Days of bread, days of thanksgiving for the fruits of the land
Every year at our school students and teachers organise different events and activities to mark the days of bread and to show thanksgiving to the land for all the fruits we enjoy.
One of the first activities this year was organised by teachers Prlić, Sokol and Maleš. Together with their students they prepared and baked delicious homemade cookies.
Students had a lot of fun and learnt something new.
You can see the process in the gallery below.
Another tradition in our school is also a school play.
This year students from grade 1-4 participated with songs, recitations and dance acts. Everything was organized and monitored by their form teachers and religion education teachers Maleš and Bota.
Here is a gallery with some photos.
Share your bread with the hungry...
Not all the people are blessed to have bread on their table. That is why we are happy to share what we have with those who are in need.
During October our students donated flour, oil, sugar, salt and other supplies that we collected and handed over to Caritas.
This was a perfect end to a month of thanksgiving.
